Let's face it, every home tells a story, so when you are prepping your home for sale the first question you should ask yourself is ' what story is my home telling'
The vast majority of home sellers need some help with this, in my opinion its best to have someone who is objective to take a look at your home and help you with what your home is currently saying, and then help you narrate the story you want to tell.
For example: when I walked into the house I now call home for the very first time, my home said, “Welcome! Imagine the family gatherings you could have here!” In fact, my son saw this home before I did and said, “You need to see this house, it has a great vibe!”
Notice there was no talk of the condition of the house. It’s a 120-year-old farmhouse, which wasn’t exactly on my radar. In fact, it was so far off my radar that I think that radar starting questioning its career choice :) you get the picture!
